Jack of All Trades

(Below Left) Chris “Ssippi” Wessman, founder of the Echo Park Woodshop, is a man of many trades and talents. His breadth of work encompasses hand-crafted earrings, skateboards and cutting boards (pictured), furniture and elaborate theatrical sets, such as the one he created for Annie Lennox’s show at the Orpheum Theater. He posed with the shop’s front mural by Cryptik Movement, “a public art campaign dedicated to helping humanity evolve towards greater awareness and understanding.”

In Tacos We Trust

It is perhaps no surprise that Guisados co-owner Armando Dela Torre Jr.’s art is as good as his restaurant’s food. Posed in front of Torre Jr.’s mural, tacos in hand and tummies grumbling, the I, Echo Park and Saw the Sign ladies were joined by musician and Guisados’ own Luis Torrealva for an artful moment in time.

Arielle is wearing a New York Hat Co. fedora, a top by Vince and boots by Seychelles. Ashley’s tee is by Truly Madly Deeply, jeans by True Religion and a fedora from American Vintage in Echo Park. Tiffany’s jackets is from Zara, booties from Target and her vintage dress was her grandmother’s, worn on her mother’s wedding day.
